Although you didn't explicitly refer to Florida and DeSantis, I know you're thinking of Florida and DeSantis. And I too see DeSantis as our only hope. But... while I HOPE DeSantis is the real deal and has a chance of establishing a national ORGANIZED movement (through the GOP - through an ACTUAL takeover of the GOP levers of power) I just can't imagine "them"... LETTING HIM GET THAT FAR.
Not Just DeSantis, while at this time he does seem to be a good man. He will probably buckle under threat to his or his families lives by the deep state if he ever gets a prominent national position. However during COVID and the Riots there were a number of state level elected officials that behaved commendably. I will speak of Oklahoma as I am most familiar with it. When BLM came to OKC they were allowed to march peacefully, but as soon as the mob broke the first window the police broke it up and arrested anyone who didn't flee immediately or came back. Then the next day when the local BLM leadership published what essentially was a list of demands (with the implied threat of elevated "Protest") the Oklahoma County DA Charged all the organizers and everyone arrested the night before with felony terrorism ( I don't think it would get there for this) a crime that in Oklahoma can carry the death penalty. We saw no more unrest at all. So far as COVID in the very early days when no one really knew what was going on there were some restrictions, but never anything like NY or CA. Then by June or so when more truth became clear all of the state wide restrictions went away and never came back. Some Cities, counties, and other smaller jurisdictions tried to continue with the plot, but they were largely unsuccessful and many were removed from office or are facing it now.
There are similar examples from dozens of states. Unfortunately those stories were not widely distributed and you have to go looking for them in local medias. I figure that is because most of the states are considered insignificant by the MSM, the actions/results in these places don't fit the narrative, and ultimately it is better to memory hole as best they can any proof the establishment was wrong.
