Last week, I wrote about how our world is becoming the world of 1984 and I do believe in many ways it is. I also believe it is much much worse than that. In many ways, we have slipped into a nightmare alternate reality, one that if you had told me 10 years ago we would be in now, I would have laughed at you and said it could never happen. This is true from our foreign policy to domestic policy and, even to a larger extent, our daily interactions. Every aspect of American life seems to be in some form of radical upheaval into total nonsense and insanity.
I am convinced that Joe Biden isn’t mentally competent for the job, and having a senile dotard in the White House is more dangerous now than at almost any other point in history. In the last week, he has clearly called for regime change in Russia, threatened chemical, biological, and nuclear attacks on Russia, and threatened to send US ground forces to fight Russians in Ukraine (here, here, here, and here). The Russian invasion of Ukraine isn’t a good thing, but it is a nuanced thing, one where, politically, there are no clear-cut good guys or bad guys (here). Add to that, Russia isn’t some third-world shithole country we can bully and bluster around to our desired course of action. This is a serious and dangerous situation that could result in ending life as we know it on the planet.
Yet, in this very serious and tense situation, rather than trying to de-escalate and address Russia’s very real grievances that lead to this war, we have Joey B. unchained constantly making threats and escalating tensions in a manner that his handlers have to continually walk back nearly everything he says (here, here, and here). To make matters worse, he frequently denies having ever said things he does (here). I don’t think he is being dishonest. I think he doesn’t remember, and that at this point his presidency is equivalent to elder abuse of a very unwell, senile old man. I think for his use of typed cards in Q&A sessions (here), his gaffs, and other incidents it is also becoming clear to other world leaders that whomever is running things, it isn’t Biden. Things are so bad that even traditionally reality-denying propaganda outlets for the DNC are publicly stating Biden shouldn’t run in 2024 (here, here, and here).
On top of the gaffs, the walking back, and all the other problems, there is also very clear conflicts of interest and corruption stemming from Biden’s son Hunter’s laptop, where it is clear that Ukrainian oligarchs in the current administration have been buying influence over Joe for years and laundering the funds through Joe’s son (here). It is also clear that Joe has bragged about using US foreign aid as quid pro quo type deals for personal gain to protect his son and his son’s friends from criminal liability (here). As such, even if Biden was competent enough to be in office (I honestly do not believe he is), his conflict of interest makes him a very poor choice to lead the nation through the current events in Ukraine. That isn’t to say the US should be involved at all, because we shouldn’t. In our bizarre world of propaganda and lies, it can be hard, from time to time, to tell what is really driving our world.
We have never in the history of the United States had a president who would go out and make a statement just to have his staff come out almost immediately to contradict him. Never, yet it is becoming so common in this administration that I cannot believe anyone who matters actually listens to what Biden says anymore. It would be my guess that they wait for what his handlers come out and say is the real policy after the fact. This being the case who is actually pulling the strings and running the senile sock puppet from the shadows? I don’t know, but I am completely sure Biden isn’t in charge and isn’t mentally competent to be in charge. As Americans and really as a human on planet Earth, given the size of our military and governments penchant for foreign intervention, everyone should be extremely concerned with who is pulling the strings and actually running things. This is more important than ever because whoever it is has total ambiguity and cover acting behind the curtain while they parade Joe out in front of the world. Leaving them free to act outside of the limits placed on the office of the presidency.
Fortunately, as time goes on, I think it is getting harder and harder for those who have propped Biden up to continue to deny his mental decline. I think this can be seen in the amount of press questioning his mental faculties that has come out since the first of the year or so and the rate of questions is accelerating (here, here, and here). The bad news is his heir apparent, Kamala Harris, was a diversity pick and virtue signal on a grand scale, who is utterly unqualified for the job. I don’t think any rational person could disagree after just a few moments of watching her spew meaningless word salad (here and here). To make matters worse not only is Harris inept, unqualified, and unprepared to be president. Her past record shows that she has insufficient integrity or moral character to do the job (I do realize these haven’t really been requirements since probably Kennedy, but one can hope). As the Attorney General of California it is clear she intentionally hid or had her flunkies hide exculpatory evidence, sending primarily minorities into the overcrowded California prison system, while knowing they were innocent (here and here).
Where does that leave us as a country? I don’t know and am almost afraid to think about it. I do think whoever is running Biden really thought they could get through the term and are probably scrambling as it becomes clearer that they probably won’t, as Biden’s mental state continues to noticeably deteriorate. I think those who set Biden up have found themselves in a place where they absolutely don’t want to elevate their grand virtue signal because she isn’t totally controlled and is sane enough to act on her own, but it is growing clearer daily they will need to do something. My friends, we are living in Chinese curse values of interesting times. I don’t know what will happen, but I do know you should lay in a supply of food, water, essential items, and the means to keep them, if you haven’t already. The window to prepare for whatever is rapidly closing, as grocery shelves are more and more empty and what they do have is more and more costly. It is my fervent prayer that we come out of this without the need for such things, but the hope of that grows more dim by the day.
I will leave you with my life verse. God Bless you.
Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
-Sam
Thank you for leaving us with that verse. I am sorely disturbed regarding the fate of our country. And very, very grieved. But God is still with us.
