Welcome, once again, to the Asylum. Doubly so as we head into a midterm election very shortly. I am not going to cheer on one side or the other because the entrenched establishment of both sides are really the same team and rotten to the core. That is why nothing really changes and with rare exception, regardless of party, each presidential administration does all the exact same things as its predecessor, just typically on a larger scale. What intrigues me is that in this cycle we have a strange opportunity to strike a blow against the entrenched machine, a blow the establishment set up intentionally that isn’t working out how they had planned. That is why things are getting crazy and the establishment is exposing their crazy so publicly to try and stop the monster they built.
We will start with the fact that the Democrats spent at least 53 million dollars to support Republican candidates (here), and in some places spending more to advance the primary campaign of a Republican candidate than they did on their own races. The best part is the candidates that the Democratic party boosted with massive influxes of cash are not establishment. These candidates are “Far Right” or “Extremist” (here, here, and here). I realize like so many words that end in -ist the hyperbole surrounding “Far Right” and “Right Wing Extremist” is fundamentally meaningless unless one assumes that it just means anyone not in line with the uni-party Washington machine in support of the warfare-welfare state propped up by fiat and debt. This strategy was enacted because of the belief that these candidates would be easier to defeat and give the Democrats an edge in maintaining power. So they see it as effectively a political dirty trick and a way to shift their opponents public message away from the establishment message of the Republican party.
For the sake of argument, let’s pretend that the ideas being espoused by these extremists are really actually dangerous and promote all the bad things the establishment claims. It seems to me that by promoting these candidates the Democrats are first validating the extremist message, second ensuring more air time and exposure to these abhorrent ideologies, and third ultimately moving these dangerous fringe ideas more to the mainstream, even if the candidates espousing them lose. It would seem that by adopting this strategy they ensure the ideas grow and pose a greater threat to succeed in the future. It gets wilder, and one would think the Democrats would learn from their mistakes. This isn’t a new strategy. We all know that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) did Bernie Sanders and other candidates dirty in 2016 so as to ensure Clinton got the nomination (here, here, and here). The deal was so fishy and corrupt that the head of the DNC wound up having to resign (here). It appears that Clinton cheated her own party to win the primaries. But, what if I told you the Clinton campaign had already picked their choice of Republican opponent? Documents have come to light that appear to indicate that Clinton would lose to nearly any establishment Republican (I said it in the run up to 2016 and will again, Hillary Clinton has too much baggage and is simply the least electable person in the country). In their quest for power, starting in June of 2015, the Clinton campaign started to do things and spend money to prop up Donald Trump. The Clinton campaign then used its influence of the Mainstream Media (MSM) to have them paint Trump like the Republican front runner in the narrative (here, here, and here). This was before the obvious lies of Russia-Gate, and the masses losing faith in the MSM on a broad scale, so it worked and Donald Trump became the Republican candidate and his message was amplified. Unfortunately for Clinton, that message resonated with the masses fed up with the status quo. I honestly think this miscalculation brought us the sloppy poorly done farce that was Russia-Gate. Towards the end of the election cycle, the Clinton campaign realized that not only had they lost, but they had also removed the presidency from the establishment and given it to a total outsider (a sin worse than losing). With the help of the security state’s entrenched partisan interests and the MSM (here, here, and here), they put together the abortion of a hail mary that was Russia-Gate to try and undo what they had wrought.
This strategy worked so well last time, apparently the Democrats decided to go all in many times over this election cycle. Unfortunately for them, the MSM has lost much of its credibility and wields much less control of the narrative than it did even 5-6 years ago (here). Then, there are the issues that matter to the middle 80-85% of people. For example, the Potato in Chief with his sock puppet VP (here) that few people like and even less have faith in. It is clear that Brandon is in extreme mental decline and Harris is little more than a virtue signal that is incapable of taking the helm. Add to that the terrible economic condition of the United States and the world (here), with the official inflation numbers being terrible even as they are critically under-reported (here and here), while the Potato in Chief blithely admits that he isn’t concerned about the American Dollar, he is worried about the world, when asked by a reporter (here). Sadly, this is just another example of how the establishment in general, and the Biden administration specifically, doesn’t care about the people of America. This is further illustrated by the absolute flood of illegals entering through the southern border, bringing drugs, human trafficking, and crime with them (here and here). Then, lastly, but I assure you not least, is the threat of nuclear war looming over the entire world and, other than not wanting nuclear war, supporting Ukraine is consistently an issue of low concern to voters (here).
The punditry are up in arms making sure everyone knows what a threat to DEMOCRACY all these red candidates are (here, here, and here), unironically without the faintest hint that there is no such thing as American Democracy. America is a Constitutional Republic that happens to have some democratic elements, but it isn’t a democracy. They are so up in arms because they backed the anti-establishment “radical” wild cards who are not steeped in the lore of DC or owned by corporate interests and won’t initially be controlled, who are in danger of winning. It appears more and more that many, if not all, of these horrible, nasty right-wing (insert your -ists here) are winning by a lot (here). These are the same fringe voices that the Democrats propped up and spent millions of dollars boosting to primary wins. Seriously, they are freaking out because these candidates have questions you aren’t supposed to ask about Hunter’s laptop, FBI collusion in Russia-Gate, COVID, and other things, because most are completely detached from the approved narrative. So, not only does it look like the DNC will lose the House, and the Senate is a toss-up (here), these new radicals are going to have questions. They will have the power to compel answers, and to one degree or another, to punish any wrongdoing
they find. This isn’t just in the Federal Government. The Democrats have set up the fringe (insert your -ist here) candidates for success at all levels, from local to state offices, and several governorships (here).
The closer the elections get the more it looks like the Dems may have just pranked the establishment in 2022 the way they pranked themselves in 2016 while trying the same dirty trick. Unfortunately, I think we are too far down the rabbit hole for it to do any real good. The fact remains that insufficient amounts of food were grown in 2022 to feed us to harvest 2022, far too much live stock were lost in 2020-21, far too many dollars were printed in 2020-2022, and there is just too much rot to be overcome at this point (here, here, here, here, and here). The best we can hope for at this point is that there is some light of truth shown on what has happened so the millions still locked in a narrative prison can escape. This will be the hope to recover from the collapse into something better. Beyond that I am sure the next legislative session will be comedy gold as all these horrible, terrible January 6th types take over for real because of elections.
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
God Bless you
-Sam
When I first learned of all the millions the Dems were dumping on Republican primaries my first thought was, that strategy got them Trump. Why on earth would they risk it again? The definition of insanity, indeed.
