I realize it is April first, but this isn’t a joke.  The Asylum has been open for just over six months.  At this point we have 28 Free members, 13 paid subscribers, and 5 Complementary members (my older kids and two people that help with the publication).  That being said it is a start.  In an effort to increase membership we have decided to hold a drawing.  If we can get 100 Paid subscribers (yes that is a lot) at any level by July 1st 2022 We will hold a drawing with the first prize being a survival kit. 

I am not extending the 80% off deal my very early adopters enjoyed (I think my work is worth more than that).  I am instituting a subscription drive deal where new subscribers before the July 4th 2022 will receive 20% off for life.

The Prize

This kit is identical to the ones I have put together for myself and family (minus firearms as that adds a legal layer).  Unlike mass-market kits that are stuffed with low quality barley functional components this bag is stuffed with items I have selected for use by myself and family in the event of an emergency.  It includes food, water filtration, water storage, first aid, fire starting, emergency temporary shelter, and much more.  The kit itself contains more than a get home bag and could be a 72 -96-hour kit depending on how it is used.  With a weight under 9 pounds it can be used as an emergency car kit, get home bag, 72-hour grab and go kit, or a just incase kit for day trips into the wilderness.  These kits cost more than $300 to put together because of the quality gear, and is the kit I am willing to trust my life and the lives of my family to in the event of an emergency as we try to get home, to a safer place, or wait for rescue depending on the situation.

(Note it is recommended that you add at least one firearm and ammunition to complete the kit)
