Hello, and welcome once again my dear readers.  This week’s topic will have some speculation based on facts and the end conclusion isn’t really funny.  We are closer to making Weird Al’s Christmas anthem Christmas At Ground Zero prophetic than at any other time in my life.  We may be closer than we were during the Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962.  Unfortunately, we do not have a level-headed and clear-thinking leader at the helm as we did with Kennedy.  We have a senile sock puppet who mumbles nonsense words, calls on dead people, and gets lost easily everywhere, including small stages (here, here, here, and here).  It has grown so bad that even international news is being honest about his decline (here).  We still don’t know who is actually in charge, but for anyone to claim Biden is actually running anything is willful ignorance at best and outright dishonesty at worst.  That leaves us with a world rapidly careening out of control on all fronts and no way of knowing who is actually calling the shots.  In that way, Biden is doing the job he was propped up to do perfectly.  Biden is nothing more than cover so others can do things in the dark they could never get away with if they were in the public spotlight.

By way of recap, the United States (US) forced Russia into a position where if felt the best option was to invade Ukraine (here).  Then the US and its allies proceeded to sanction Russia, while bolstering Ukraine with material assistance (here and here).  Yet, regardless of the propaganda on US news, Russia is winning and they will win.  I think Dr. Peterson was 100% correct when he says Putin can’t lose. He said essentially Russia already won in the fact that they devastated Ukraine and kept it out of the hands of the west (here).  I think it is true and even more true is the fact that for the US to fully go to war with Russia is to go to War with China too and we don’t have the logistical back bone to successfully do that (here).

This brings us to now, where earlier this week both of Russia’s northern gas pipeline Nord Stream 1 and 2 developed leaks (Seismic data suggest they were bombed.) (here).  Now the US is claiming it was a false flag and Russia bombed the pipeline (here) itself.  On the surface maybe, Russia needed to be attacked to rally its people around the War.  But, if they were going to go false flag to rally support, I don’t think they would choose a pipeline out in the middle of the ocean.  A false flag needs some emotional drive to it.  I think Putin knows if you want to rally people around a false flag you need mothers and children bloody and crying on TV.  You need shock value, plain and simple, as ugly as that is.  I also think in the destruction of the pipeline Russia lost its biggest and best bargaining chip as winter rolls in.  As long as the Nord Stream pipelines were present, Russia had the ability to say: “If you lift the sanctions, we will turn the gas back on”.  That is no longer an option. Putin is a lot of things, many of them not good, but he isn’t stupid, and unless there is some significant information I am missing, I can’t see how it makes sense for Russia to have false flagged the pipelines.  Losing those pipelines cost way too much and produced too little drama.

Russia of course says it didn’t bomb the pipelines (here) and as I write this Russia hasn’t accused the US directly of bombing the pipeline.  I, however, think there is a strong possibility that the US did in fact take out the Nord Stream pipelines.  I don’t know if the US did or not, but I will lay out the information I have found and let you decide what you think.  First, on 9/27 (the day of the bombing), a new pipeline, Baltic Pipe Project, for delivering non-Russian gas to the same region serviced by Nord Stream was completed (here).  It might be coincidence, but completing a pipeline capable of replacing Nord Stream and then the same day Nord Stream being destroyed by sabotage pushed credulity to me.  Then, we take into account that Biden said if Russia invaded Ukraine Nord Stream 2 would be gone (here).  We have at least some motive in that Biden said we would end Nord Stream 2 if Russia invaded Ukraine (and they did).  Then, we have reports from the German media that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) warned the German Government of attacks on the Nord Stream Pipelines weeks in advance (here and here).  If they weren’t behind it then how would they know?  You can’t tell me the CIA wasn’t aware of the completion date for the new Baltic pipeline.  Also, when you think about who would profit from this act, who is it?  With Nord Stream off the table, Germany and other European countries can’t lose their nerve and lift sanctions for Russian gas, as there is no way to deliver it.  I just don’t see what Russia gains by losing either, and especially both, the Nord Stream lines.  Then, of course we have a Polish politician and European Parliament member, Radoslaw Sikorski, who tweeted thanking the US publicly for the destruction (here).

We also have reports from CNN by way of “two Western intelligence officials and one other source familiar with the matter” all unnamed Russian Naval Ships were observed in the area (here and here).  The story does go on to say that the Russian ships are a common sight in the area. The article just feels like the start of a misinformation spin on the part of the US mainstream media (MSM), kind of a security blanket in case it looks like the US did blow up the pipelines.  Unfortunately, in this case, no matter how they spin reality, the facts will prove out because I am sure Russia doesn’t care what unnamed sources say.

While I don’t think Russia wants a wider war and I don’t think Russia even wanted the War in the Ukraine,  I do think Russia is a proud nation and won’t go quietly into receivership of the West as just another US vassal state as much of Europe and Asia have.  The loss of the Nord Stream Pipelines are a big deal and if Russia even thinks the West did it they will be forced to respond.  Unfortunately, in a major world war they only have one card to play and we will have Christmas At Ground Zero to one extent or another.  I do think, at least in the eyes of Russia, the entire world burning in atomic fire is better than political and economic subjugation.
